One thing caught my eye was your Power Supply unit. I'm considering a nearly identical build blow for blow...

I am under the impression that the power supply must be version 2.2 to be compatible with the i7 and 1366 mobo....

anyone is welcome to correct me if I am wrong, as that correction might save me a bit of money as well.

i'm looking at this PSU for mine... i intend to get duplicate videocards rather than bleeding edge cards http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817139007 so i want the powersupply to run them.

I already have a case so Ill need everything else.

Im going with the EVGA board regardless. Ive had a EVGA 680i and 780i and have had no problems.

CPU

Wont really be able to afford the 940 or 965 so has to be the 920.

Heatsink

This is not in stone and Im open to suggestions here.

I like the blue.

Memory

Not much to say here.

Hard drive
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16822136319

Dont need anything bigger. Have 1 500 now and 400gb free if that tells you anything.

DVD
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16827151171

Could get by with just a dvd rom but might one day burn a dvd.

Total 1130.93
Power supply has a 35.00 rebate.

Comments?
Suggestions?
Dude I would hold off on the i7 upgrade. Just pour some money into graphics for now. I7 won't give you that much more performance, at least not for now.

If I were you I'd just get a second 260, and wait for games to become more demanding and i7 to decrease in price.
