That case..

How much difference in price are we talking if I do get two cards. If I can find some on sale for 100 dollars (9800GT) should I get two??

Jattditutti,

I am in a similar situation but a slightly higher budget. I have posted many things in the advice thread I started a couple of weeks ago. I already have my case and ALL the parts arrive tomorrow.

I have the Coolermaster 690 and was very impressed with the overall build AND the number of fans located within. Places for 7 fans and it shipped with 3. I also found that it was MUCH cheaper at this link....had it to my house in 3 days with the standard shipping option! CM 690 $66.20

The thread where the folks really helped out, and you can see my changes in decisions as time went on, is located here.

I have also found that there are a lot of videos on Youtube that show various things with regards to just about anything. Applying thermal paste was one that I really liked!

Another great one I thought
(may be our own PapaSmurf)

I wish you the best of luck and I will be attempting everything tomorrow and hope to document it.

Regards,

I doubt you will be disappointed if you build your own p.c. granted that it works of course.

Don't worry about the i7 processor just get the Q6600 @ 3.6GHZ it can preform the same as the i7. Video card wise i would go with 2 cheap 4850's in crossfire.
