My initial budget was 800 dollars, but I'm going to spend an extra 200 to bring my budget to 1K.

It this alright, or could I improve it by changing things....

Looks like a solid build. I would save a few dollars and go with the "vanilla" version of the GTX 260 and OC it yourself! If you do not already have the games XFX is offering two games, $30 rebate, and free shipping from NewEgg...$169 total! COD5 and FarCry 2...

As far as the case goes....if you are not sold completely on the Antec 900 you may consider the CM690....Provantage has it for about $66 bucks....I own one and really love the thing!
