I like it already...good mid-high level build

I have seen better case for the money but if your going budget I guess it will do...I would spend another $20-30 something nicer

How about cpu fan and ram?

Default Not Too Shabby

Looks pretty good from what i can see the only thing(s) i might consider would be a bit different mobo ... see if you can find one w/ 2 PCI-E slots so you could upgrade later w/ another graphics card so your system last as long as possible... and maybe a quad core for a bit more money but that 8400 is an excellent proc and oc's very well from what i have seen... so other than the mobo looks good =D

EDIT: dont forget about ram

Looks great! I know it's not much but That psu is $5 cheaper at amazon, and the PCP&C 750 is only $85 AR.
What ram are you going with?

I would replace the HDD you have with a 640GB WD caviar Black. You will get much faster speeds from it.
I am not crazy about the case. I suggest a Cooler Master Centurion 5 or 690. These will give you much better air flow. Others will also recommend the Antec 300.
For the DVd drive, get any Samsung or LG that suits you. Just don't pay more than $30 and you should be good.
Get some G. Skill 1066 RAM.

Nice build but I would go with the Antec 300 for your case it is awesome. Also it appears you have not picked out any memory I would get these G.Skill ddr1000 sticks .

Edit: That UD3R board you picked is great I've heard it is the non crossfire equivalent to the ud3p which is an amazing overclocker.

while the corsair dominator is an excellent set of ram you could go w/ some cheaper corsair or even patriot i love them both as far as brands... and w/ the rest of the system they should work great and you can save some money by not getting the top line dominator series... just a suggestion maybe a bit better well known case? maybe =D

a bit cheaper sets that will still run really well the cheaper has a bit higher CAS latency but you wont notice it at all i am willing to bet

It's an Ok build overall. But unless you plan on going CF then cut down to a Corsair 550VX. IF you wannt CF then change the mobo to a CFable mobo.
