E7500/E8400 Build?? - Page 2 - Overclock.net

I'm looking to purchase either a Dell inspiron 530s desktop PC which has an E8400 processor (3.0 Ghz) or an HP Slimline S3750t desktop PC which has an E7500 processor (2.93 GHz). I'm not a gamer but I do work at home creating software for lawyers so compile speed is important to me. My question is: Does bus speed matter? The E7500 is only 400mhz while the E8400 is 1333. I'm new to all of this chip stuff so please excuse my ignorance!
