Correct me if im wrong. you're not getting dual channel because u selected 1G and 2G RAMs. should have chosen 2x 2G.

haha yea i am to afraid of having it fail on me at some point i am a better safe then sorry kinda person so i keep it at stock speeds i have overclocked it for fun, managed to reach 3800Mhz and 800Mhz ram speed for a 1:1 Ratio 400x9.5 100% stable for 10 hours in Orthos and Stable in Burn Test - temps were fine to but again worried that i'll stat it up 1 day only to have it die on me

reason i did that was because at the time i was using 32-Bit windows - and i didn't really have the cash for the 2GB chip just the 1GB chip, so the extra 1GB to make 2 would of been useless due to 32-bit so i went for the 1GB

but i plan on getting that 2GB soon so i have 2x2GB for Duel Channel
and eventually i'll get another 2x2GB to make 4x2GB (8GB)
(i'll take out the spare 1GB when i get the 2GB chip)

and yes the chips are running in Single Channel mode
you need 2 or 4 pairs of the same ram size and speed to get Duel Channel

ok ok - i set it back to overclocked speeds

3800Mhz 400x9.5 - Stable in 5 runs of Burn Test - and tested awhile ago and 10 hour stable with Orthos
ram is still at 800Mhz for a 1:1 Ratio
