Default Doom Box Build - thoughts? opinions? suggestions?

So I am in the process of building a new computer, haven't built one in like three years.

These are the parts I am looking at, does anyone see any problems?

Processor: Core i7 920

Motherboard: Asus P6T6 WS Revolution

Video Card: ASUS EAH4870X2

Hard Drives:

OS / APPS: WD VelociRaptor 150GB
Storage: Seagate 1.5TB 3.0 GB/s and Seagate 1TB 3.0GB/s

RAM: Corsair Dominator 6GB DDR3 1600

Tower: Cooler Master HAF 932

Power Supply: PC Power and Cooling 1200W

I would greatly appreciate and feedback and suggestions on the parts. As far as sound goes, I was thinking about just going off of the onboard mobo sound. And for optical drives, not sure if I am going to spring for a Blue Ray burner or just go with a dvd burner.

1200W? any particular reason? If you're looking for 1000W and above, take a look at the Corsair 1000HX. Beyond that, the 850TX that I have in my sig rig would push what you've got lined up there with no worries at all....

also, what cooling? I'm assuming air with the HAF. On board sound?

Go with the Corsair HX1000 instead of that PSU 1200W is a lot more than you'll need also..

As for bruner I'd go with a regular dvd bruner for now if you're not in any special need of a blue-ray player... by the end of this year prices would have dropped on them, and there should be more to choose from as well.. BR players are a tad overpriced atm imo..

And also.. great choice of motherboard!!

I was looking at that PSU just to ensure that I had enough wattage for expansion in the future, 2nd video card, add on sound card etc. Do the Corsair's rate as high as the PC Power psu's?

I forgot to mention cooling, yes for now I am focusing on Air Cooling. For the CPU cooler I want to use the new Zalman 9900.

You can up the rig with another GPU without any problems.. a lot of people are running two 4870x2's and a sound card without any issues at all with the HX1000..

again, don't just rely on wattage to worry about a second card. That's overkill. The 1000HX corsair would be more than enough to push 2 cards/sound card/etc. As far as I can recall, the 850 would push sli/xfire cards etc.

Yeah, Corsair (as far as I recall) is the top of the list.

sound good. haven't read too much about that particular cooler. Everything looks like it will be a good build.

I don't think the zalman is the best you can get ATM. Umm I would go for the 1000w as mentioned earlier. When you said add another video card, do you mean go quad fire 4870x2!?! *faints*
