A 24" and a PIV? You don't plan on gaming do you? The CPU would eat your gaming performance up. I think you'd be better off getting a cheap AMD build.

Not for me..but yeah my cousin plans on gaming. I didn't think it'd be too much of a bottleneck since some games only use 1 core still. His P4 also has Hyperthreading as well. /w 2 gigs of RAM and Windows XP. He said he plans on upgrading his motherboard/cpu this summer. That's why I told him the GTX.

get the 4850 instead and ignore the bottleneck. bottlenecks are way overrated

Bottlenecks are overated, but the native resolution of a 24" monitor and that rig just doesn't seem like it would be pleasant to game with.
