Just put together my sig rig (pics on the way) but it wont post I have a backlit LED keyboard and that is not coming on either if that helps at all the monitor just says no signal. I have tried switching from DVI to HDMI I will try VGA while posting this.

Boot up with 1 stick of RAM, switch the GPU to a different PCI-E slot. Do the fans turn on? Lights? HD/DVD? Nothing is shorting out the motherboard, correct?

yes the mobo lights up even boots using the onboard switch
changing DIMMs did nothing

The mounting for the CPU was a little unstable I attributed it to shooty craftsmanship maybe a remount?

Everything is on and connected correctly I just don't see a post from the computer when I boot. Nothing but a blank screen.

Does it have a Post lcd, the thing that has the code on it that tell you what its doing? ( i forgot what it was called ) If it doesn't change at all or doesn't respond to anything like no ram or GPU or CPU or what not,then its probably a dead board That happened to me with my 780i last month

but just check the cables, reset CMOS, and what not.
