Swap out that unreliable power supply as well.

This will be cheaper, but better.
Thanks for the suggestion, I was thinking I'd probably have to change the power supply cause my friend said something about it. Also, I don't mind paying for this build if it will last me a while of pretty much the usual Warcraft/Internet usage over the years.

I also had a question about technology coming out the next couple years. Hypothetically, would it be better to buy this build, than to downgrade somethings due to being overkill, and end up having to buy an entirely new GFX card, or something else? Cause the way I see it, it would be like:
Go from card A ($100) to card B ($50) and then in 3 years or however long, a new game I want comes along and card C ($150) comes out but card A would have done a little less better than card C. So I would end up paying $200 when I could have just paid the $100 for the first card and getting a little less performance for $100 cheaper.
(Sorry if that confuses you lol :P )

The 4870 1 GB completely rapes the 9800GTX+. The 9800GTX+ is on par wit hte 4850 512 MB.

IMO, you don't want to buy a $50 graphics card. If you ever want to skimp on anything, it would be the hard drive, CPU, lower clocked ram, and then motherboard; never a video card.

Starting to get some money now, thinking more and more about buying this soon just want to make some final decisions and what-not. So right now it looks like the only two things I don't really have definitively chosen are the PSU and the GFX card.

DVD - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16827136152
HDD - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16822136319

CPU - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16819115017
CASE - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16811119068

GFX - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814150314
PSU - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817182044

When I was looking at the different cards, I saw it mentioned that one or two were longer than other cards and that the cards either did not fit or just barely fit in the case. Just wanted to make sure that my current card will fit fine with the case.
Also, I'm not sure on the PSU. Will the current one be fine or do I need something more than 500W of power? And just to make sure, is there anything I am missing if I'm just going to be using this for playing things like World of Warcraft and maybe some Counterstrike or whatever? Not like, really really demanding games but like I said first post, 60+ FPS and max settings on WoW is what I would like :P .

Decided to give in and buy a monitor, probably going with http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16824009127.

Just want to make sure everything is all good and compatible before I go and spend my money on this thing. A comment on the GFX card said it is 11 inches long and I want to make sure the case will fit it with some room because it looks like it would be a close fit.
Case: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16811119068
Specs: 18.9" x 8" x 17.2"

If you're going with the Q6600 and a 9800GTX, go with the Rosewill 600w instead, 500w is cutting it close imo. And for most builds, Rosewill PSUs are fine. I did a similar build (Q6600 and HD4850) for a friend about 6 months ago, the CPU is lightly oc'd to 3.2ghz and it's still running fine.

Thanks, there's two different ones but I picked out this one:

I guess the only thing left is to make sure the GFX card will fit with room in the case.

ditch the case you can get a CM 690 for that much shipped refurbished and i love that case. I think you can get a better video card for that price too.

Go with the Stallion series 600w, it's the same price but it has more powerful 12v rails and higher efficiency. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817182150

Would you mind linking me the case? And the GFX too.
If anything, I'd honestly like to try and cut the price down a little bit to make up for buying a monitor. If there's not much to cut, that should be fine.
