Nothing more than the Motherboard, CPU, and poss the ram. Check and see if the ram says its only for intel boards. if its not then all you need to do is pick out a AM2+ Motherboard and and phenom 2 link above. If you want to save 20 more get a 2.8 Phenom 2.

+1 on the above list Its a good setup.

Still shocks me I was the only one thinking phenom 2 lol

If it's the same link as the old one, that system looks pretty *****in' :P .
It comes out to a little more than my build however because of rebates but it looks worth it.

I would go with http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16827151173
this DVD burner over the listed LG my preference is all

Again if you want to save 20 more go with the 2.8 instead of the 3.0 Phenom 2

As for cutting more fat from the above list i think you would also be please with this cooler its 10$ cheaper but I love mine keeps my temps at 22c wich is my room temp approx 70f. Never hit over 35 load

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16835207006

Thats a sweet deal on that 650w psu and good name brand!

User reviews show several using that kit on AMD setups. It should be fine. I had it at about 720 dollars before shipping with the 2.8GHz Phenom II x4, but I thought it would be great to have a Black Edition while staying in budget, and it does work out that way.

Edit; it's about $816 after shipping with that buildout, so you probably would be better off with the regular PIIx4 920.

I checked out your build and added a monitor and it came out to about $950 total with a $20 MIR taking it to about $930. I won't have the rest of the money for probably another month or so, so I have a while to think about all of this.

I went back to my build and changed a few things and came up with this:
http://secure.newegg.com/WishList/Pu...Number=9403645

I changed the GFX cause the reviews were saying that it is basically a 9800GTX+ for a little cheaper. Changed the memory and hard drive also.
Can anyone make sure for me that they would all be compatible? The price is down to about $895 with S&H/taxes.

Edit: Looked over the CPU's and saw this one (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16819115055) for $35 cheaper at the cast of 0.07GHz and was wondering if it would be better?

Edit 2: Changed the monitor, here's current: http://secure.newegg.com/WishList/Pu...umber=10218672

Edit 3: Decided to just go with the 2.4GHz, not too much more expensive. Enough that I can make it.

I like where you're going on that. Just don't skimp on the power supply, ever. How long would it take to get the money for the Corsair I have in my list?
