This si the fastest DDR2 memory you can buy DDR21100

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...%20(PC2%208800)

3 to choose from.

Your MotherB standard memory is 1366+/1066 you may have to set the timing to get the 1100 to work (You will most likely have tyo set it for DDR2 1066 as well). If you want the max speed memory the 1366+ you will have to OC either 1066 ram or the 1100 ram.

Looking at the price I can't see it being worth the extra for the 1100.

I was thinking DDDR2 went up a bit higher but I must have been thinking OC as DDR3 starts after the DDR2 1100. Scratch my idea and stick with what you got!

I don't know if this is a sign I should wait to buy the computer or what but I just got some money from a grandparent. I could afford to change a couple things to be nicer now.

The one thing I am kind of iffy on is the GFX card, my friend was talking to me about it and said that I could probably get a better one. My budget is probably closer to $1000 or $1100. I'd like to keep it at about $900 to $1000 however.

Edit: Decided to go kind of click happy. New build set:

Case - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16811129021
Mobo - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813131299
PSU - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817139005
CPU - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16819115017
RAM(x2) - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820231166
GFX - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814102801
HDD - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16822136284
DVD - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16827136152
Monitor - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16824009145

I might change a thing or two but that looks pretty hot.
If anyone has suggestions or wants to take a little of their time and build something better for around the same price (including monitor) that'd be awesome.

I might stick to the original and just upgrade a piece or two, but having this money makes me want something better .

I may do a build later today but got work right now. One thing I notice right off is your dont need the 1gb version of that gfx card with that small of a lcd. I was doing some looking and I see that its only a 14$ difference for the 512 so Its not that big of a deal after all.

I've changed the build a bit now and had a question.
In two months, I'll have grandparents coming up from Arizona for graduation.
Can I have all the parts shipped to them and have them bring the big box of everything when they come up?
And if I were to do this, can I change the shipping address on my Newegg after so that from then on all items go through my address?

bad idea as your returns are only good for 30 days anything that gets broken would not be able to get a free rep. But as for the question yes you can.

Hmm, cause that'd save me almost $100
Anyways, here's the latest build I threw together:
http://secure.newegg.com/WishList/Pu...Number=9403645

Could I maybe downgrade a couple things to help lower the price?
Having it shipped to me will cost $1,262 on the dot.

I might change the mouse/keyboard, I'll be using this for gaming and those look nice though.
