@Hackmod: The 4890 was just released today and the majority of the reviews show it to be a great performer. Maybe you should consider getting a single 4890 and possibly adding a second one down the road.
You of all people would know how biased most reviews are.

My 4890 performs the same or a little less compared to my Gtx280 in every game i play besides crysis witch is a nvidia biased game.

On topic, man hackmod your rig is gonna be amazing.

Jesus man. You must have the most powerful computer on the subcontinent! I didn't even know the i7 was released there yet considering when I went during January the Q6600 was new

Also, see if you can find the new Seagate 7200.12 range. They are ridiculously fast hard drives. Secondly, crossfire is as easy if not easier to set up and is an excellent alternative.

The rig is currently under progress, If I do well in my examinations, I might as well be on my way to gaming nirvana.

UPDATE : Now is in Cambridge education
I gave up on the idea for this rig, because it'll be not a cent worth it's current value in a few years, or when Intel release a new proccie.
Decided to go with more modest rig.
