[Project] Imolation (hardware)
Hi all,
See the link in my sig to the Imolation case mod. This is the sister thread for the hardware. Just pulled the trigger on the following  :Intel Core i7 920 2.66GHz (hopefully D0 from Newegg) eVGA X58 SLI Classified 760 3x2Gb Corsair Dominator GT @ 2000MHz, 7-8-7-20 Koolance X58 Classified NB/SB water block D-Tek Fuzion V2 1366 bracket Hoping to hit some massive overclocks with this board. Also in play will be: -My dual BFG GTX280 graphics cards, water cooled as well -My XFX 8800GT will be on PhysX duties (currently using it as a backup card) -WD Velociraptor (Win7 and apps) and Seagate Barracuda (for storage) -My Corsair 1000w to power it all -And Black Ice GTX480 and GTX240 rads to keep everything cool

Update:
So I got all the parts in. They came in the biggest Newegg box I'd ever seen, filled with a lifetime supply of packing peanuts. Let's see what's inside:     Core i7 920......... C0!!!! Damn you Newegg (fear not a solution is found) So at 7:15 I ran (I mean ran) to the nearest PC store and started asking around for an i7 920 with S-Spec SLBEJ. I told them there were 2 types of i7 920 and the guy said "yes, I know, the 920, 940 and 965." Anyway, some persistence and 10 minutes later, booya:  First thing I did was look up the batch number to see if it was any good. Found one guy running his chip 4.2GHz 24/7 at pretty decent voltage, so not bad Needless to say I'll be using that receipt and my Newegg C0 to make a return tomorrow Also in the box, some Corsair Dominator GTs, of the 2GHz variety. I hate overclocking RAM so I just figured I'd get the fastest there is. I've seen good testing results with these so hopefully I can replicate them.   And finally the motherboard:       And finally, here's my old system sans-case (case is still under construction):

 That looks awesome. I wish I could afford the Dominator GT's and the Classified. They look so badass next to each other. I say dye your fluid UV black or red.
