And I think you are already set on the case. Optical drive doesn't really matter, if you want a high quality one get a Plextor. As far as HDD goes, the Western Digital "Black" series are really fast HDD's. The 640GB is a good example.

I'm more toward to E2200HD at the moment. The hard drive, had a look at it, seem like a good one, think I'll change it to the Black edition. Optical drive's not important at the moment but thanks, I'll keep in mind about the Plextor optical drive

Decide to change to 1TB from 640GB so there's no compromise with the storage for me. Also will decide to have modss such as blowholes on the case and under the motherboard so I would have easy access to remove the heatsink without taking out the motherboard, may decide to have a window panel, powercoating internals of case and power supply.

It's a LG, the performance of DVD-RW doesn't matter to me as I always have the burning setting to the lowest speed.

Ah, I have one of those LG's as well. It's still going. I have 2 NEC DVD/RWs that broke down on me, so I'm not getting those again.
