Well I have to say it looks good. The change to the Corsair 750w

If you go with a Quad CPU later you may want to look into a better CPU cooler up front.

Well, the Zalman would get the job done now, which is I think why no one mentioned it, but We_Gone is right; if you want to go quad in the future, get a better cooler to start with. I have personal experience with the True and think it's a great cooler, but Xigamantec is good as well. Also, you won't find the True on Newegg. I had to get mine from CrazyPC ( http://www.crazypc.com/products/utlr...50983L775.html )

I like you was really liking the looks (and especially the fact it didnt cover up any dimms, us AMD people know what Im talking about, for some reason no matter what board, the dimms are just too close to the socket) I heard a long time ago that the Zalmans were awesome..

Well its apparent that they are highly over rated and now obviously over priced. They just cant keep up with us overclockers. They are pretty but a no-go.

Go with a Xigamtek 1283v or any revision, or a True. The rifle coolers are just stand up great coolers.

That Noctua is one ugly mofo, but it works its tail off for you. Thats a great option as well. Why they put that hideous shroud and blade on that nice rifle cooler we will never know, but the fan itself is a very good one. Recommend carefully picking out a different fan for it.

oh and I 2nd the corsairs. magnificent!

I was going to say the same thing after seeing the first post. Change the Zalman for the Xigmatek 1283.

Nice. You will not be disappointed with your Gigabyte. I have the same version, except mine only has 1 PCIe slot not 2. I have heard of people getting to 4.0+ on there

Also, get the s1283 or any CPU cooler like it (like the dark night). It is WAY better and is awesome. Also, get the bolt through kit for. This comes on the dark night which is the same cooler but coated in black nickle and has bolt-thru brackets.

also Im glad after putting thought into your build, you came here. I am selling barely used parts that were great for the small build I intended on doing, all because I didnt go get suggestions.. like my sig says. "started as a $500 build" LOL

like whats been said, if you do intend on going quad, get the proper cooler now.

Looks good but I'd opt for a Q9400 or Q9550 if you got the extra $$$.
I just did a build with the Q9400.

Q9400, $219.99 w/free shipping
