Also, MY 4770 outperforms my 4850(both stock but 4770 with ASUS TOP BIOS) The 4770+Musashi would give you incredible overclocking.....but yeah, it is expensive. Crazy to think the cooler is half the price of the card.

![]() Correct about the overclocking, but one other point I needed to consider was the fact that I game at 1920x1080 so I figured 1GB would be useful. Also, debating the soundcard. I know I have the D1 listed now but I can get also get a D2 open box ![]() The normal price for the D2 would be €139 and I can get it for €124. The price of the D1 is €64. Good deal or no? Is it worth it?

So, is the Xonar D2 much better then the Xonar D1? Then I'll grab the open box D2. If the difference is tiny I'll just get the D1.

AFAIK, the D2 sounds better.

Also added the D2 instead of the D1 and ditched the cable ties. I hope the D2 is worth it

Good choice. I was looking into buying one of those but I figured this 4770 would be good for me since I'm not much of a gamer.

And here in the Netherlands I can get the GTX 260 for €170 as well. But then I have a crappy stock cooler, for the same price I can get a HD4870 with custom cooling. So for now I'm going to stick to the HD4850 Vapor-X because I'm already spending more on a card then I wanted to. And to add to that, I have a Crossfire board ![]() This card is just to hold me over until the new cards are released. And then I'll buy whatever gives best bang for buck.
