You don't have any system information so I'm going to go ahead and assume you have a normal monitor and anything over 60fps minimum is wasted processing power.

He said it will be used only for BF2. If that's what he wants, that's what we should work with. Also, CoD5 isn't anywhere near as good as BF2 if you ask me, and certainly not to someone who is building a rig specifically for playing BF2.

Haha yes indeed! My systems, Arcane in particular, are a testimony to that fact. That said, there's no reason to be wasteful. If all he's doing is bf2 than we should respect that - and his wallet.

That was a random figure, I don't know much about finer tuning or overclocking. Wouldn't higher fps matter in online game with high ping?

To max out BF2 all you'd need is an X800GTO, Athlon 3200 and 1GB DDR400. This is the future where we have dual cores and 3.0 shaders and other magical things.

And the future looks bright
I thought to give you guys the update..The build went smooth for the most part. I had a problem with system shutting down because one of the heatsink fasteners was loose so the cpu was overheating.
So far I'm loving my new comp, BF2 looks awesome with all the settings maxed. Now I can actually see the people I'm shooting not just shadow figurines.
