Big udate, bunch of pics tonight
The other night I was able to install the tubing, double check to make sure that the LED's was working on tht bitspower block and start some cable management. Also I got the 2nd res mounted and ready for the 2nd loop. I am still waiting on parts. TDN1979 was able to fabricate a custom part that would A) Hide my PSU cables at the bottom of the case. B) serve as a platform to mount the 2ns 355 pump. I came up with an idea using cornerd aluminum, but it wasn't really what I was looking for. TDN1979 drew up some plans (which I'll share below) and the item is already on its way to my house. You'll get a better idea by viewing the pics below. Tubing/Radiators/2nd Res: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() LED on the motherboard: The LED works just like it how it was when it was attached to the stock heatsink. It pulses when the computer is not on, and stays lit when the computer is turned on. I tried to get the pics of when it was its brightest during the pulsing. I apologize if they are a bit blurry. I'll get some better ones for the final set of pics. ![]() ![]() ![]() These pics show of what I was trying to accomplish using the cornered aluminum. It would have worked but it was a bit tight when mounting the pump, and it wouldn't have been flush against the PSU. It's just 3pieces of cornered aluminum, cut to form an enclosure. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Like I stated above TDN1979 was nice enought to fabricate a custom part by bending an aluminum sheet (i'm guessing that is how it is done). Rather than spoil his work, I will wait to show you the item when it is recieved in the mail. Other than that, I am holding out on the 275 blocks at the moment. I wanted to se if there would be anyother options othter than the Koolance ones. There have been some others that have recently come on the market ( eK, and aquacool blocks ) and I will make a decision on which ones I will get by the end of the week. As of right now I am leaning towards the Koolance because I like the Nickel plating more than the Acetel or Acrylic of the eK Blocks. Cheers ![]() *edit* I almost forgot, All the colored cables will be covered/sleeved/hidden. Including that 24pin PSU cable. So don't think that I'd let that slip by.

I really like it! Where is the rad? And of course will you be watercooling the GPUs as well? Like on their own loop? because I see a 120mm rad there. Post more pics..

Case Modder
![]() ![]() |
Lmao, you are making everyone wait, I love it! I shipped it off this morning and you should get it on Wed if all goes right. The case is looking great though
One thing that I can suggest, there should be a setting on your camera to where you can set a longer exposure. Some of the storm shots that I have gotten where on a 30 second exposure so that it would capture lightning bolts adn I have had a lot of people tell me that it was day time and it was at like midnight when I took them. So, somewhere should be something that looks like 1" or 2" or so and you should be able to capture the light like you are wanting to. |
