No there wont ever be an i7 MBP, it will be i5 based whenever that chip is released, the i7 is too hot and too power hungry for a laptop.

Yes, they will probably all be clevo based, but you never know. The aug issue of pc gamer has an ad by Ibuypower for an i7 laptop, but a call to them as to why it's not on their website got this reply, "it's the august issue, we will have them by then." So will cyberpower.

I expect to see them below $2k.

The i7 laptops are basically desktops in a laptop shell, nothing new... But it's not really a mobile chipset.
