Don't do GTX 275, BTW. Save for 4890, or 4870 to crossfire later.

Yeah, keep the mobo, it's a good one. I like ASUS myself. Just do better cards and/or CFX later (that's Crossfire-X, btw). You'll still have nice performance for less than buying an SLI board of equal quality, as that would be at least $50 more than the one you got (mind I said OF EQUAL QUALITY...too many complaints about the cheaper SLI x58 boards to warrant skimping on the price). Stick with the board and ATI cards to save cash, the performance will still be very nice.

Your build is good.

But, for gaming, you'd get better performance with that budget if you just went with Socket 775 or AM2+, that's all I'm saying.

Your rig will be able to game fairly decently, despite this.

Fair enough dude.

When you do decide to upgrade your system, I'd get another 3GB of the same RAM, a TRUE with Push/pull fans, a HD4890, and a WD AALS Drive.

Then your machine will be a gaming monster.

It's a brand of Western Digital Hard Drives, they're super awesome and fast, very popular on here for RAID.

http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/640GB...rpm-32MB-Cache

This is the drive that I'd get, offers great £ for the GB and is really fast.

It's a great drive, I really recommend it, I used it in a friend's build recently and I was jealous of how fast it was.
