So here's my options for now.
__________________i7 ![]() (this would be hardest for me to get , since I wouldn't be selling my graphics card and I'd have to save up more) And I'd be using the stock cooler for a bit, which I'm sure sucks. Comes to $800 CAD Here's the AMD build ![]() That has a new graphics card and cpu cooler. Which comes to $967 CAD This would also take a bit more to save up for. Then lastly we have the Core 2 Quad build ![]() The most expensive at $980, but has a much needed monitor upgrade.

Would I be better off keeping my CRT for now or try getting another free one that works better so I can save up for a real good one ? BTW , how do you like that P6T SE ? Any problems ? Ever had to RMA ?

I might stick with the rock solid ud3p. I think for now I'm just gonna go quad. I think i7 is a bit too much for how much better you're getting. I'm sure a quad core will last me a bit anyways. It'd be nice if I could get a 9650

And I'll probably go i5 when the time comes. For now I'm not convinced i7 is worth the money, and I also don't trust any of the affordable boards to be any good.
