Here's my first build!

Step up your case to something a bit bigger like a CM 690 IMO. Step down from the CM V8 to a Xigmatek Dark Knight to cut costs. Also, you don't need a 750W PSU, so if you really need to cut costs, you can go a bit lower.

How about you get a vanilla P6T? It's almost as good as the deluxe, do you need the extra features of the deluxe?

Last but not least, don't get a sound card (unless of course you have to have one). Best way to save money there.

I would keep the power supply so he can crossfire later on and future proof as well

Like others said, a bigger case, like the CM 690, and a better CPU cooler, like the TRUE or megahelems.

I don't plan on crossfire-ing or SLI-ing in the near future... so would a 650W be enough?
I probably won't the extra features of the deluxe.
