Default [PROJECT] Kidshenlong's New Haf 932 Project

Hey guys finally got round to starting my new project. It's my 3rd computer from scratch but the only one where I've really gone out of my way like saving up and working more etc. Ordered a few parts already so thought I'd start posting on here
Been researching for a while so here's my parts list!
Project building is gonna be pretty slow at the start because I'm currently unemployed but looking for a job lol

Part list:

1. Processor-Intel Quad Core Processor Q6600- G0 Stepping
GOT-Courtesy of Orion

2. Case- Cooler Master HAF 932
GOT

3. RAM- OCZ Blade Series 2GB x 2 PC29200
GOT

4. Sound Card- Creative SoundBlaster X-FI XtremeMusic
Sound Carl Arrival
GOT

5. Motherboard- Gigabyte GA-EP45-UD3P

Finally arrived!! After a week
Motherboard Arrival :P

6. HDD- Samsung SpinPoint F1 640GB Hard Drive SATAII 7200rpm 16MB Cache
GOT

7. PSU- Not too sure what to get here but I was thinking...
The Corsair HX750W would be great now I just gotta save up for one.
http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/CMPSU...lar-UK-Version

8. Graphic Card- HD 4890. Might stick with my 4770s not too sure yet. Really looking to get a real powerful system that'll last me.
Two of them most likely not sure which ones or if I'll only get one depends how the job hunting goes!
UPDATE: Decided to go with the 4890. XFX edition. Gonna get one and then another a little later (when I get a job or when my birthday comes up!).

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showpr...56&subcat=1403

9. Moniter- Asus 22-inch VH226H <<< Most websites don't stock this first hand anymore so I'm gonnah ave to get a different model... the VH222H
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Asus-VH222H-...9916073&sr=8-1

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Logitech-G15...9917052&sr=1-1

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Logitech-910...9917107&sr=1-1

Okay that's pretty much it they're a few other bits and bobs like dvd drives, wifi card and certain wires but not too sure what i'm getting atm so i'll add later.

As for cooling I'm planning to get water cooling

1. PUMP- Swiftech MCP655

GOT

5. Fans- Yate Loon D12SH-12 120mm 2200RPM Fan

http://www.chilledpc.co.uk/shop/prod...roducts_id=410

6. Radiator- Swiftech MCR320-QP-K Triple 120mm Radiator

http://www.chilledpc.co.uk/shop/product_info.php?products_id=557{26}32

Not to too sure on what barbs and tubing i'm going to get. Don't think I'll bother with compression fittings probably just some fatboys and zip ties
Barbs:http://www.chilledpc.co.uk/shop/prod...roducts_id=401
Tubing:http://www.chilledpc.co.uk/shop/prod...roducts_id=816
Coils:http://www.chilledpc.co.uk/shop/prod...roducts_id=372

Okay so that's pretty much it. I'll be updating as much as I can posting and pics and stuff but like I said no job so lol buying parts will take a while.

No specific order to the way I order stuff I'll be getting the smaller stuff pretty much when I have spare money and the larger bits will obviously take a bit of saving up.

Also I need a name! I was thinking Project Dark Moon but dunno. I'm open to suggestions!

Also I think I'm gonna add a price list. Just so I know how much i'm working towards.

Okay the Fillport an Reservoir arrived yesterday :P Took me a while to work out where I wanted the reservoir but ultimately I decided I wouldn't drill nay holes or anything and just attach it next to the pci slots :P

The Fill port

The reservoir all nicely boxed up lol

The fill port all nicely installed :P A Perfect fit.

The Res mounted :P

And that's all for today folks. Wasn't too hard to install.

Over the next couple weeks i'm gonna try and pick up the speed of this project and hopefully get it all finished before my birthday (August 11th *hint hint*)

Also I was thinking of painting my case red and black that is my theme after all but I dunno it just seems like an awful big hassle. What do you guys think??

PS

This was the look is was going for....

Yes, paint the case.

It's really easy to do.

Guide here.

Good luck with the build man, it looks great.
