ahhh crap, i just saw your post lol, just got my old bookmarks back on my pc so clicked them all to see if there were any updates

My mobo died... i ruined 2 pins and sent it back, they took like 8 days to say 'we dont have yours in stock anymore and wont be getting it in stock, its discontinued..." so I had a arguement with them about giving me a better one as they took so long etc and I finally got this Asus P5Q-E

that coolermaster CPU cooler looks amazing!!! D: how much is it?

&& if you do get a dslr, dont get that Nikon D40 :P get a Canon 500D ;P, Ive got a 450D (for college photography, which I hope to do at uni) and it takes amazing shots. Your better off buying one without a lens and then buying 1 or 2 lens yourself (on ebay, you can pick up a good condition 18-125mm for £80) as the one that comes with them is normally rubbish.

let us know what you choose, there both good cameras, I just prefer taking photos with my canon

That CPU cooler is a CM V8 and it's $55 on newegg.

It's a good cooler but you can get better ones for less.

No i7 for me,I had a go of a Q9550 and that thing is amazingly fast (it was stock too :O )

Also,this means I can spend more money on cooling...coming in with the Q9550 will be a Megahalems (The nickel plated version,the Megashadow,if I can get it) as well as North and southbridge coolers,mosfet coolers,and some ram sinks all from Thermalright.
