I'd like to reduce the cost of this build.

I'd like to sell my current rig, either part it out or otherwise and see what I can do.

This build is currently £1,760.66 inc delivery.

Are the parts right? i7 overclocks are reliant on the memory, right? There was a pair of OCZ Blades with some nice timings at 2ghz. Would that Rampage board take them?

2 260's would be more then adequate.

2x285 would definately do better.. 2x275 would probably be on par with tri-sli gtx260

2 285s is a better idea than 3 260s.

go with 2 285s or 2 4890s because less cards = less heat

2x275 actually shaves £80 off the price.

Would that really need an 850w PSU?

What about the RAM? I'm aiming for 4ghz with the 920, do I need 2ghz RAM?

Also, for clocking, do I need that particular motherboard? Is there a cheaper alternative that will perform just as well?
