What are you idle temps? I had less TIM then that on my CPU and mine is around 37c

I idle at around 29-32°C. Room temperature is 22°C.
I'm currently doing a new Linx run @ 450x8.5 (3.825GHz for the lazy ones). I upped the voltage to 1.3750V in the BIOS, and CPU-Z is showing me a drop to 1.272V. I am worried. I'm 8min in, and Tmax is 54°C, not too shabby.

Oh yeah, how many hours did you let Memtest run for?

Since the RAM is running at a lower clock than it's specced for, I don't really think I need to run memtest yet.
Update: Linx got an error after 10min, the Vcore at idle is back to 1.336V... this tremendous drop of 0.088V is really bothering me. Is there any way I can stabilize this? I don't really want to up the Vcore even more.

Look up a pencil mod for your mobo that can eliminate the vdroop. Only thing i can think of to remedy that

Hey dalder, I've been waiting for you to chime in
![]() Here's my newest mishap =/ ![]() Vcore dropped to 1.272V under load. EDIT: I don't have an HB pencil, but I do have some conductive ink. Will that do the trick? http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...3&postcount=16

Those Blade may get to 1000 MHz at 4-4-4. Try a higher FSB and lower multi.
You should boost the Vcore to 1.3625 (Intel's top approved voltage) until you are stable and finished. You may need to boost MCH to 1.4v as well.
