***** I've setup an alternative build based on your guys suggestions. Remember she wants to watch hd and doesn't want the computer to be slow. So do you think Intel GMA HD 4500 can do this? I also added her a 19" widescreen LCD monitor and the computer comes in at $440 before shipping (over a $100 saving and has a monitor) See what you think of the following: https://secure.newegg.com/WishList/M...px?ID=14399568 Rosewill R102-P-BK 120mm Fan MicroATX Mid Tower Computer Case - Retail $19.99 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16811147111 GIGABYTE GA-G41M-ES2L LGA 775 Intel G41 Micro ATX Intel Motherboard - Retail $59.99 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813128388 XCLIO STABLEPOWER 460W 460W ATX V2.2 Active PFC Power Supply - Retail $46.99 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817189013 Intel Pentium E5200 Wolfdale 2.5GHz LGA 775 65W Dual-Core Processor Model BX80571E5200 - Retail $66.99 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16819116072 G.SKILL 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model F2-6400CL5D-4GBPQ - Retail $46.99 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820231122 Western Digital Caviar SE16 WD6400AAKS 640GB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive - OEM $59.99 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16822136218 Hanns·G HW-191DPB Black 19" 5ms Widescreen LCD Monitor - Retail $99.99 (free shipping) http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16824254005 SAMSUNG Black 22X DVD Burner Black SATA Model SH-S223B - OEM $26.99 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16827151187

You go from HD4850 overkill to thinking you don't need a videocard at all? What the heck? As I said before, go with a 4670. Even a 4650 will handle HD video well. Chances are onboard graphics will not handle HD video, plus it will eat up RAM, and make the system generally slow.
Jeeze, if your not going to give her a videocard you might as well just send her to Best Buy to get a computer... Edit: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage....=1218091190691 It's a Dell, basically it's your build exactly. NOTE: I am NOT saying you should have her buy a system instead of building her one. The point I'm trying to get across is that the main point of building a system yourself is so that you can use a quality power supply and know that you will have enough room in the case / enough power to supplement a video card. If you don't include a discrete video card in the build, she's basically no better off than if she walked into worst buy and bought something.

I would go for a discrete GPU just to be on the safe side. Through a 4550 or a 4670 in there and you'd be golden.
