The Dominator

The dominator has been going on for a while.
PHASE 1
E5200/9600 GT
PHASE 2
E8400/9800 GTX+
PHASE 3
Q9550/GTX 275

wasted lots of cash, but haha.


the dominator will go through a new phase. Lets call this PHASE 4.

I have a 1,000 USD budget to use in about less than 7 days from today, and here was what i was thinking.

1. 2 GTX 285s,
2. 2 GTX 295s with a new PSU.. *need some input on this, i have a 750 WATT.. I don't think its enough, really.
3. ???
4. i7' 920 (possibly, don't really feel like upgrading to a new CPU when more are around the bend.. if you know what i mean)

5, 6 and seven are for you guys to decide :P

Either way, i need a new motherboard for ALL options above.

Just buy another gtx275 for sli, then maybe a big harddrive or something.

can't call it a Dominator if it doesnt have dominator ram

those are some tough upgrade options though, 2 GTX 295s with a new PSU would be sweet and if you upgraded the mobo for i7 later you could carry them over to the new rig.

I should actually get some dominator RAM for the sake of it.

Yeah, but by then, i will have my GT300 card haha. I don't really want to upgrade my CPU at all. I mean, god, i just brought it a month ago.
