Default Sli bench results!!

Well boys and girls, the time has finally come .

Got round to doing a 3D Vantage bench with my SLI setup. 2x 285s in a sweet sli setup. Ill be sure to take some real nice photos in some natural light so I can show off my case and sleeving

http://service.futuremark.com/result...&resultType=19
(Previous score was the cpu oc'd to 4.2ghz + graphics card oc'd to core: 711 shader: 1619 - these new scores done with cpu @ 3.8ghz + cards @ stock )

Ill keep posting up results of more benches as I get round to them .

Unrelated info, Ive purchased my fan controller + my reservoir (from Cyberdruid ) and will be getting all the rest of the kit next month!!!

With the exemption of trying to cut out parts of the top removable panel and installing the rad where the 2x 140mm fans sit, ive decided its going to be impossible to put a rad inside the case without stuffing up the airflow.

Im going to be using this koolance mounting bracket to make everything 1000 times easier. (Just sits where the 120mm rear fan would sit!!)

Ill be putting the pump @ the bottom next to the psu, but ill be using this pump nozzle base so I can easily direct the tubes.

I was planning on buying the water cooling this month, but as we know how life loves throwing random expenses our way, ill be buying it mid next month

Default Initial system build complete photoshoot!!!

Having finally gotten everything in my case and getting some unreal performance from this dual 285 setup, I decided to try and get some decent pictures!!!

Ill be submitting some pics to the "rate my cables" thread as well Try and get some sweet ocn rep!!

Now lets take a good look inside!!!

And just a couple of pics with the system turned on

I have to admit, that has seriously been the most fun I have had in ages!

This has been my first computer build and with the help of my best mate, I have learnt so much in the past couple of months. I have always loved computers, but before this I hardly knew anything about i7s, SLI and how to build a system, let alone how to sleeve a psu I had no knowledge about the greatness of OCN either .

Even though I did kill my first i7 (due to inexperience or bodgey C0 chip? Lets just say a bit of both ), then killed my Gigabyte Extreme and even at the expense of my gf cutting sick on me about obsessing about the comp, I persevered and I'm so wrapped with how everything has turned out!! (Mind you she is the first one to get excited about how good sims 3 looks on my comp )

To everyone that read and commented on this thread and to anyone that has ever helped me on OCN, you guys get my deepest thanks as well!!

This comp would not look like this if it wasnt for all the knowledge + help I was able to obtain from this amazing wedsite!!! Much OCN <3

...all thats left is the watercooling....coming very, very soon boys and girls!!!
