Hello OCN hope you are all well I am good myself I had a guy at work tell me his brother was building a new computer. I told him if he needs help to let me know and of coarse he did. We went through a few different combos until he choose the stuff you will see below. I think his decisions were good compared to what he originally wanted.
Here is a list of the components going into this build: Intel Q8400 AC Freezer 7 Pro CPU Cooler Gigabyte P43-UD3L 2x2GB OCZ Reaper DDR2-800 4-4-4-15 2.2v Sapphire ATI HD4870 1GB GDDR5 2xWD 500GB SATA 32MB Cache HP 1160i DVD Writer SATA OCZ StealthXStream 700W Antec 300 3x120mm Antec 3-spd fans/1x140mm 3-spd Antec fan Windows Vista Home OS He opted to let me build this rig for him since he has never done such a thing.Me being the nice guy I am said sure I will do it and now here we are . Only part of the computer I am doing is the hardware side since I guess he know how to install OS and programs. Also this rig is from what I hear only gonna be used for WOW. He is upgrading from a compute that is around 5 years old so I hope he opens his horizons and pushes this beast a bit. Since the game wont really max this combo of hardware to much. This rig will not be overclocked or anything like that so the cooling will be sufficient and quiet.I picked up the parts a few days ago and it only took me maybe 5-6 hours from start to finish. Kinda upset I didn't get to take as many pics and vids I would have like since my camera was not with me for the end of the build. Got a few good vids will upload to my Youtube channel here soon to show you guys. Since time was of the essence didn't get the cable management perfect but it will work and does not block airflow. I also didn't do any mods to anything as he didn't request nor pay for any of them.

No! Not Vista!
You should have downloaded Windows 7 and then installed it, used it until February 30. Make sure you order Windows 7 during that timeframe though. Otherwise, great build

Without cutting holes is not the best but far better then most generic type cases. If you cut like 2 holes one at top for 8 pin and other for PSU cables would help out greatly in hiding wires.

Getting to know the Antec 300 a bit better.
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() The case did not come with front 120mm fans ![]() I talked to the person and they bought 2 120mm Antec 3-spd fans for the front. All the fans together on medium provided enough cooling for the hardware while not being annoying. You can attribute that to the use of all 120mm-140mm fans. Antec fans are good fans they just are not worth the money you pay for them new IMO. Since I spent about 2 hours or so building this rig it wasn't the best but came out rather clean. That is for not drilling any holes and using a decent sized PSU.
