The Mobo can be cheaper, if you chose one with DDR2 only. You have selected DDR3 ram, DDR2 ram is still cheaper and will give the same performance.

Do you really need a separate GPU? If you use an Nvidia 9400/9300 chipset motherboard, you will be able to watch 720p/1080p video. This will do anything but new games, and will spare you the cost of a PCI-E GPU. Also more energy effective...

The CPU cooler will unlikely be better then the, stock Intel cooler. I would suggest a Scythe Big Shuriken if you can find one, they're cheap, silent and have good performance. The case and OS is your personal choice.

An other thing you can do is to sell the parts you already have, and buy a Asrock ION 330. This will be cheaper and gives a good HD Mediacenter and a light web browsing machine.

Then you probably should get that separate GPU, your choice of a 9600GSO is good, at least the best one this shop lists. L4D is a real light game so you should be fine with your CPU/GPU combo. IMO, if you want to buy at the shop you link to, you're limiting your options. There are better products out there... Just my two cents.

Bumb: Any other opinions on this?
