Default i need help choosing the right processor for my laptop!

hey guys, so im debating over 2 laptops for college. what is the the difference between a AMD Turion X2 Ultra ZM-82 Dual-Core Mobile Processor and an Intel Core 2 Duo Processor T6500 besides the obvious difference in speed (2.2 and 2.1Ghz)?

The Intel will slightly edge the AMD in most tasks it will also run cooler. Neither to such an extent I would concern myself with. I usually would look more at the GPU in a situation like this.

The Intel likely better upgrade options AMD would top out at ZM-88 2.5Ghz, Intel T9900 3.066Ghz. If Bios support could even go Quad.

I could tell you more about differences but not sure were to start or end.
