Default i need the best LGA 775 build someone can think of for sub 500$

anything and everything will be considered here.
building for a friend
-wants to be able to play WoW nicely
-minimum of 3GBs of RAM

that is the only criteria i have for this build

**hard drive, monitor, and OS are not needed

Start with an E2/3/5xxx. They overclock well with minimal effort and you can find em cheap.
Check out Corsair XMS2 @ http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820145241 for memory.

Thats $120 after rebate with 2 big components out of the way.

I would say you should go for an AM3 build. It will be faster for the money spent and the socket will be around for a long while.

I know very little about AMD, as I have never had one and experimented with it. But I've heard good things about the PII. I'm sure the 640 won't disappoint when playing WoW.
