Default Advice on upgrading

Hey guys the new cod is coming out and i need better graphics. But when i built my comp 2 yrs ago i didnt think about having a cf/sli board. So i need advice on whats the best option. Get a board and get another 8800gt to sli or get a cf board and get two 4850? or do you guys think an 8800gt is good enough if its just for this one game no need to waste money and save up for an i7 build.

I don't think buying a SLI board just to put in another 88000GT is a very good idea. I think upgrading your card to something like a GTX 275/285 would be better.

Get a ud3p and a few 4850s, then try to clock that q6600 up.

But gtx 275s and 285s are hideously expensive...if he's willing to spend that much he should just forget about it and build an i7.

You can get a GTX 275 for under $225 now. If he can build an i7 system for that, please let me know how, because I'm going to build one as well. He'd also still have the same video card with an i7 which wouldn't be that much help.

or you could get a 58xx card, the 5850 isn't that expensive. I wouldn't be suprised if a 8800gt stood up to MW2 though, if your PC could run COD4 fine (which it should) it should run it fine too.

I don't think there is any thing else left to say. Get the UD3P and a GTX275.
