How long do you think you will be waiting between purchasing parts? If it's going to be a while you may be better off saving untill you have your entire budget together, and then you can take advantage of any new components out or reductions in price of the ones from your list

P.S. Welcome to Overclock.net!

It looks good, but I would suggest swapping out the mobo and CPU for the x58 and core i7 variant. The core i7 920 overclocks better, and costs a little less than the 860. Not to mention that the x58 1366 socket will be more future proof, if you ever want to upgrade to the core i9. The core i5 is more for people who already have an 1156 socket board, and don't want to fork out the extra cash for a 1366 (x58) board.

This means you will have to change your heatsink, I would recommend the TRUE 120.

For the power supply, go with corsair.

And lastly, I would recommend trying to get some combo deals off newegg, you will be able to save some major cash. (I know there is a combo for an x58 + i7 + ram) Best of luck!

Also, if you were to raid0 two Western Digital Caviar Black drives, you will still have 1TB+ but would be benifitting in terms of performance, at a similar price.

2 of those would be my suggestion (though I can't work out why the 640GB drives are cheaper than the 500GB ones)
