Would this be a compatible build? I am still fairly new to building computers and if anyone can recommend something cheaper. It's always good for someone to check your build before checkout, Thanks! |

Is there any reason why you are choosing a micro-tower? One of the biggest issues I believe is that it may not fit more modern, long graphics cards. In addition to that, the graphics card may block certain ports in the microATX mobo (but that depends on the brand and layout of the board, i think your mobo is fine).
__________________You can shed off like 20-30 bucks if you downgrade to a 600watt PSU and possibly a 550watt. No cooler is in the cart, make sure you add one ![]() Also, there are no fans in the case so make sure you throw in a couple of fans (1 exhaust, at least 1 intake) For memory: I hear core i7 supports triple channel, so i recommend get three sticks of memory on whatever config you want (most popular are: 6GB (2x2x2) or 3GB (1x1x1)) For video card: Get the 4890 instead, its better and $30-40 cheaper Have fun!
