As far as newer HDDs; They're in the GrandMasterPlan, but aren't absolutely crucial at the moment. I've been looking at an OCZ 30GB SSD to install Windows 7 on. It's right at 80$, so that wouldn't be too bad. Eventually I hope to replace my current HDD with a 300GB Raptor or two, but like I said, that'll come after the power supply then video card.

Robilar, how do you install the TRUE on the P6T? I've been searching but can't find anything. I also noticed you removed the PCI no-tool things, which I wondered about. I put the included (with mobo) USB PCI slot in there, and it flopped all over the place using the no-tool clips.

The way things are going right now, it'll probably be two weeks or so till I can buy the CPU. Have bills to pay. T_T

Yes, thats my HAF932.

Is it worth the extra dollars? From a performance perspective, no, they are the same.

From a wire management perspective, modular is obviously better.

All right, I just ordered the i7 920 from Newegg. I'll probably take a million pictures of it when it gets here around Wednesday.

Nice! I'm watching the prices very carefully in my country waiting for them to come down enough so I can buy one. Sooo once you've got CPU you'll need a GPU and a psu?? unless you've already got one, then the beast will turn on

I'm gonna buy this and then use my 450W PSU and my Radeon X1550, and the beast will turn on.

And then I'll have to RMA a whole bunch of stuff, because it turns out nothing works.

Ahhh yeah RAM. lol that would help. Those sticks look very good. Nice timings.
I've heard some people say that getting a set of DDR3 2000 with higher timings instead of DDR3 1600 with thight timings because when overclocking some people have trouble running there DDR3 1600 at the stock timings but with DDR3 2000 sticks you could reduce the speed to 1600 or so and hopefully set the timings alot tighter.

You should check with someone more knowledgeable than me

Wow good choice. You need Windows 7 to unlock full capabilties of your video card w/ DX11. Also I love your rig. ONE HUGE UPGRADE. I am doing the same .

Look at my sig rig and look at my other one. Compare .

WOW! That is one mean upgrade. You left AMD like me.

Isn't it nuts? I was loyal to AMD for years. Just got tired of performance issues and had to move on as well. I'm so glad I did. No looking back.

To be honest, I never even knew I had an AMD processor until a few weeks ago. I bought this computer from a local guy almost exactly 2 years ago.

Anyway, just got my 920 in the mail. SLBEJ, Batch: 3931A222. From what I understand, A's aren't as good OC'ers, but I probably won't OC it until I have everything I need anyway. I also couldnt find this particular Batch, or anything really close to it in the Batchlist a user has collected.

Also-Also, mine doesnt have that black backing I've seen most if not all of them have...!!

Here's three pictures, with one flash-wiped one of the processor.

Nice pics & rig.

Why the HX1000 though?

Don't get me wrong, it's a great PSU (i have one), but it's way overkill unless you're planning for SLI/CF in the future, & even still overkill for that really.
