160GB Intel X25M G2 SSD... it'd be such a shame not to get one.

Use your 250GB for not so demanding games get a Velociraptor for FPS's and grab a 64GB ssd like a G.Skill falcon for your OS and Crysis demanding games or something, then it will scream along.

This is how I set my rig up

VelociRaptor 150gb = OS hard core games
Barracuda 500Gb = main bulk programs (eg Adobe Masters Collection and stuff like that)
Barracuda 160Gb (from last set up) = Backup drive
The only thing I'm thinking of adding is a SSD when I rebuild next year.

Hopefuilly, Murdocke can sell me his 2x HDs for cheaper. If so he really is helping out a ton, because I can save that money and actually buy an OS ($30)! I already had a bad dream of not having enough money, and having all my computer parts + monitor with no OS... no joke

Should I hop on this PSU deal, it ends today.. and I don't know how rebate works if it ends today? Does it mean I have to send it in today, and hope they get it.. I think the form said something about 30days after purcahse.

EDIT: The PSU really is the best PSU my money can get its hands on (very future proof, but it's not fully modular)

For $140 though (after 80 MIR)... for something newegg sells for $285, it must be a steal!

For hard drives I would do this
Caviar Black 640GB x2 for Raid 0
OCZ Vertex 60GB SSD for OS and some games

You will also need a fan for the Megahalem.

As for the RAM it night not fit on the BR with those heatsinks so you might have to go with different RAM. Check out the pics in my build log for the RAM clearance with my Megahalem.

Which RAM are you talking about not fitting, the Gskill or the OCZ Golds I had up?

If Murdocke sold me his, 2x 150gb 10000RPM Raptors.. How would they be in Raid 0?

I was talking about the G.skill ripjaws. The Golds will fit.

As for the raptors im not sure. The Caviar Blacks are pretty fast for the price.

Damn, so what fan do I get for the Megahalems?

G.skill ripjaws won't fit 100%?
If so the OCZ Gold is $10 bucks cheaper, what's the main difference between the two?

LOL EDIT: My computer is so outdated. =\ And just the fact I had a Dell for 6 years before this, make's me even more sad. It had 333mhz and a 128mb graphics card or ram.. I forgot, haha.
