Also, why not save some money and go with the 750HX. $145 and a $10 mail-in-rebate.

ROFL! Like how in the world did I forget a GPU for a FPS Gaming rig? It's obviously a 5890, but let me edit my first post and add it. Looks like I might drop 2x velociraptors.. unless I get the used one cheap.

I went over that list about 5-6 times. Kept looking up and down from the list to "GPU: ATI HD Series"

If you'd like to save some more money I think you could do without $400 worth of small hard drives. Do you really need 2 raptors? You could get Caviar Blacks, or just get 1 raptor with a black.

How is the performance with 3x 120gb hds in raid 5?

Don't case fans, cathodes, and cool mods hook up to harddrives for power? *flame-suite-activated*

no, they hook up to any 4 pin molex connector on your power supply. dont worry your new 850hx has plenty of them trust me i own one ^_^
