Get a more reliable power supply like from: Antec, Seasonic, Corsair, Cooler Master, OCZ.

Hitting 3.8 was easy, getting a stable 4.0 ghz, that will be a challenge!

I really like everything.

The PSU is a little on the weak side, however. It's a CWT design, with 29A/348W on the 12V rail, it should be enough to power that system and a low-profile GPU, but if you wanted to add something for gaming, you'd need something a bit better.

This PSU is a better built FSP Epsilon unit, with 44A/528W on the 12V rail. This would support a graphics card if you decided to add one. OCZ also have a great warranty, 3 years.

I approve besides the PSU.

And does the Mugen 2 ship with LGA1156 mounting capability? I know they were supposed to start soon, but I'm unsure.

EDIT:
Also, I've calculated your total, you MIGHT have enough to get these items I've listed. With some extra cash that is, it might total up to $1, 100, but won't be a problem, will it?

Not sure, haven't seen it listed on sites like Frozen CPU etc (which are usually on point with that).

I may actually suggest holding out for the Xiggy Balder, which should be hitting retail very soon (if it hasn't somewhere already).
Should have pretty decent performance, and a ~$40 something price tag. Which is the sweet spot, before crossing into Noctua / TRUE / Megahalem land.

First I'll like to say thanks for the very helpful replies keep them comming!

Darn, the mugen 2 wont work with the socket 1156?...... hmmm anyone else suggest a good heatsink other then mugen 2 if not compatible.

For the PSU i'll be running the 5770 video card i'm sure it can handle that with ease.
