hey!

I'm looking to build a i7 rig as well. I chose the i7 9xx series because of the 6 core gulftown coming soonish (i thinks). Try an i7 920 and try to oc it? The 950 is twice the price but not twice the performance imo.

Apparently the antec psu isn't as good as a single rail psu when it comes to multiple video cards. that's what i heard anyways. I got a corsair hx-850w where there's just once massive 12v rail.

Also I'd try CPL and MSY around Clayton as well. I find that for some components its cheaper there. Plus don't forget that you have to pay for shipping from pccasegear. Maybe more worth it to just drive to Clayton and pick it up yourself.

Just a few things to think about. =)

The GeForce GTS 250 is a better GPU than the 9800 for $5.00 more.

This page reviews both of them side by side:

The 250 has a faster shader clock, which is a common bottleneck in new games.
