Default help me to help a friend

my friend is buying a new pc and he asked me to help him to build it. I know what parts i should be getting but i want to verify i have done everything correctly. This is mostly for gaming and the monitor is going to be a 20" 1680*1050 resolution.
Cpu: i7 920 2.66ghz (he is gonna leave it stock for now)
Case: Haf 932
Mobo: Gigabyte ga-ex58-ud5
Ram: OCZ OCZ3P1333LV6GK 6GB (3X2GB) DDR3 PC3-10666 PLATINUM
Graphics card: ASUS ENGTX275/HTDI/896MD3 (max all settings on his monitor?)
Psu: corsair tx850watts (future proof for an sli or something)
SSD: OCZ OCZSSD2-1VTX60G SOLID STATE 60GB SATA 2 VERTEX SERIES DRIVE
HHD: WESTERN DIGITAL WD5001AALS 500GB CAVIAR BLACK
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium
Cpu cooler: ARCTIC COOLING FREEZER XTREME REV.2 (i know this sucks, but it is the best one i could find in the specific site he gave me and he isnt going to overclock at all for now so i think it will do?)

any suggestions please? the price should go just a little above or it will be welcome to go a little lower
the site which from i am choosing is a greek one and it has a good selection of stuff but not everything

if it is just a gaming rig, the 920 could become an i5 and save some $$$

Pretty good build.if he's not overclocking you should just stay with the stock cooler, save yourself a bit of money. That GTX275 should be able to max out nearly everything on that monitor and the HX850 will be fine if he wants to SLI later on

the price of all this products together is the one he is okay with... I think i could have gone i7 for the x58 mobos and for him to be able to go i9...
as i have read, i7 produce a lot of heat and i thought it will be better to have an aftermatket cooler so it will stay cool enough, without causing any heat problems when there is 40C ambient in our country;p

I agree with the above statement; if he's not an enthusiast, an i5/P55 combo would definitely do.

You also do not need a high-end P55 board either; as he's going to leave his CPU at stock speeds, OC ability on a motherboard would then be unnecessary.

And again, unless he's an enthusiast, the SSDs are unnecessary; you can put that money towards a 1TB drive for storage space.

As for the graphics card, I think it's way overpowered. I ran a 19" under a 9800 GTX+ just fine; you can do a GTS 250 or a GTX 260 before the performance increases don't justify the cost.

Save about $50 (considering shipping) with this PSU

edit: free shipping on both :\ save more on the 750 though, 850 is $30 MIB and corsair takes their time with those ;p so save about 30 or 40

i know that he is trying to get in the world of pcs and he asked to get him a really good pc with the amount of money he gave me... i really put less money that he wanted to spent for the reason that he wont overclock and for his monitor, but i think that he really liked the build and he might start reading for overclocking etc... he liked the idea of an ssd for a quick boot and a better performance and he has an external drive already for space and an hdd for his stuff
as for that psu, the site we are buying from, doesnt have it, i could go with tx650 but i thought for the 40euros difference it would be better for him to get the tx850 because he told me he might getting physx if more games will support it and maybe an sli...
