Default *Updated* C2D E6600 P5W DH build/benchies 3.2 GHz on stock hsf

My new psu finally came in the mail and I got started overclocking the E6600 last night on air. The apogee w/b will go on soon with the mcw60-t on the x1900xtx, but I wanted to see what the oem style hsf would do, and so far I'm super-stable at 3.15 and I'm hoping to soft-cap a little more

Stable @ 2.884 ghz 800mhz memory 4cas

Stable @ 3.154 ghz 876mhz memory 4cas

The rig:

Those should be way higher with that kinda power...

Are you gonna overclock the card, too?

Upgrade the RAM, a DRAM divider on your Intel will hurt you. (keep it at 1:1)

EDIT: Sorry I misread the DRAM frequency. But still, keep it at 1:1 see if it's better.

No, I'm impressed by the superpi.

But the 3dmark scores should be WAY higher...I will wait till you overclock the xtx though...that should bring them up.

Nice ass rig, man.
