I am going to pick up his old unit for a farm rig I am building and I will also use it as a spare when I send my chilly in for modifications. (trying to catch the rabbit :0)

Can I ask you why you are selling all of your gear? Are you upgrading to something extreme?

Chilly1 question:
I bought it from David. He traded his old rig for it.

Haha yeah, that's most likely possible but I'm now getting load temps of 65C. I'm hoping that once the AS5 sets (which I applied yesterday) it'll drop a little but we'll see. Otherwise I might strap a Vantec Tornado onto the heatsink.

Im Thinking of building a Water chiller similar to this http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...ad.php?t=95397

parts list:
  1. CPEV (instead of using cap tube, this will be used to do metering... and this is what keeps temperature steady over wide range of temps). It needs to be used with accumulator.
  2. NF9FX.
  3. Plate HX (it is compact and gives best heat exchange ).
  4. Condenser ( have to use 2 condenser possibly on such unit as single condenser won't have enough heat removal capacity unfortunately) can alternatively look around condenser that has higher capacity but it might not be easy to find.
Advantage of such unit is easier maintenance, possibility of more components cooling.

Looks like a lot of fun to build but I still like the idea of sub zero temps.

Good luck
