![]() The first two rows are using the 8X multiplier and identical RAM timings. Raw CPU power is up with the Sandra multimedia benchmarks, but you can see the affect of the strap change with the lower memory bandwidth and increased latency. Also notice how 3Dmark06 scores have dropped slightly. It may not be all the way to 8x450 till you get your performance back to where it was a 8x395, but 8x416 doesn't outperform 8x395, that's for sure. The 3rd row is the same exact CPU frequency but with the 7X multi and the higher FSB. Timings had to be loosened to 5-5-5-12. Again you can see 3DMark06 has dropped again. Memory bandwidth is the highest, but that latency is still not that great. Also the WMV encode actually took a little longer. So I'll be running 8X400 for now with nice low 4-4-4-12 timings. I have to add more voltage than I care to, to get to 8x416 or 7x475 for marginal performance gains. It doesn't seem worth it.

Upgraded the guide with a new section, fixed some grammatical problems. Updated to Version .90. I am not sure how these version numbers are suppose to progress!
