Hi everyone

Great guide, but I've got one question about memory bandwidth.
It seems to me that you are not considering double data transfer speed when using two memory sticks in your ratio calculations.

Excellent article. I think a good idea would be to include some basic BIOS information. This would Help people get more aware of the different settings and the stuff they should and should not change.

Excellent read, EXACTLY what I was looking for! I'm in the process of my first Intel build, and I am pretty novice to overclocking in general, and this guide is perfect! Thanks again

Very good guide. I'm in the process of learning how to OC myself. My current rig is AMD, but my last one was Intel. I think my next one will be Intel as well , I'll be sure to refer back to this before buying. Rep +, thanks and keep up the great work!

i have a question about the strapping:

i have been looking thru some pictures of the bios on the abit quadgt board and failed to see a NB voltage option. does strapping mean u will not have to set the NB voltage manually?

I suggest you read the first post in it's entirety again. It doesn't have anything to do with setting NB voltages though of course they are something you care about.

the NB voltage might be labeled something different, but on an OCing board you should always have the option to set it manually.
