who knows honestly. it's been rumored to be something with the silicon they use or some other thing that happened that makes them magic but in all honesty we don't know and it could just be the way things turned out.

as far as it goes it will say something like l628a or something like that
it is the numbers after the l6 and it is on the cpu not the box

I don't seem to have an A or B either. It reads as L646G478. I'm guessing my week code would be 46G then?

It's set to 1.52, but reads as 1.48, in both the bios and Cpuz.

Try pulling 3.8Ghz on 1.55V, if it can do that, then it's a good week.

I'm gettin there, lol. I've only had it running for just over a day so I want to take it slow. I'm alittle worried about how high I'd have to set the V-core to get it to read as 1.55.
