The primary purpose of most of my machines is folding.......the quickest WU I have had finished in 11 hours, the longest took 6 days (on my ancient Socket 370 Celeron), so it makes sense to test for the conditions. I never leave my system unattended while testing in the first 8-10 hours for just that reason. Also, stress Prime has an audio alert when it fails that gets your attention LOL

L709A so far is 3.4ghz stable @ 1.46v - Will try and do some more testing at lower volts - really want to get that speed at 1.40 - was 3.2ghz stable @ 1.39v

HEY, my 6600 is now stable in Orthos for 16 hours at 3.4 Ghz@ 1.475 set 1.46 idle 1.44 load

w00t! updated - 3.4ghz stable with 1.41v! I'm going to try and get it into the 1.3x range!

which do you wonder is right though? cpu-z shows 1.39 and pc probe II shows 1.41 - however i think pc probe II is what my bios reads.


Also im really loving my temps! coretemp as me at 44c after 6hrs of orthos!

I usually try running it while I'm asleep, and I used to use that alert system, BUT when I moved we had very limited room in the truck, and I had to choose between taking my TV or the speakers I had. The speakers stayed, because I usually just use my headset for gaming and such.
