does anybody have any kind of estimate as to when tankguys will be receiving this shipment?

im assuming that since intel will be shipping july 22nd, that it'll take about a week to arrive at retailers

so maybe late july, early august?

might be as late as late August though cause they are trying to make sure they get a shipment of 100% G0 stepping so unless Intel lets them go to the warehouse and pick their boxes (they are working on that) then they would have to wait a week or two until all the B3's are out of the warehouse and in the hands of eager retailers who don't know crap

Well, see... I was GOING to go to Fry's, right? But when I walked into work, there was this package for me that contained my new Camera Equipment and my desire to mess with my computer any longer dropped very low.

I think I stopped caring about G0 and now just want my Quad Core back so I can start editing at full speeds.

Yea..i dont know if i plan on making sure i get G0 since i am not really into overclocking much, if at all.

I'm reflecting on my choices right now, and I can see that I got way too caught up with the hardware. I am wishing I would've kept my Quad Core and just waited til Penryn came out then upgraded.

I've spent a lot of time the past two months on this Overclocking stuff... I think it's about time to put it to rest.

I think about this every day now... but.... think of this knowledge as a long term investment Audi... now we can get more from our work stations...

I think you did the right think in getting rid of the B3... don't regret it... just get ued to your M2... it is finniky... treat the camera with M2 like a delicate object now cause the motor with the spinning glas can get mis-aligned... dude, I want to come over and play so bad... hahaha.... hows your new glass?!????

And remember that once you get your G0 you'll be able to OC it and proove it stable in two days... and you'll probably be up at 3.4GHz (+?!?!?)

Yeah you're right. I don't see it as a WASTE of time. Just now it's time to spend my time focusing on the real deal. Even you kicked out a short movie while doing this... I need to get back on re-writing so I can kick mines out.

The M2 Is BAAAAD ASSSSS. Even with Crappy glass, dude. Can't wait to get some great Lenses.

By the way: The frys.com 299.99 Quad was only for one day only. It's now jumped back up in price. Oh wells! Means I can definitely wait til the end of July and not have to hunt for a G0 or anything like that. And, I won't have to spend more money on computer parts, 'til then! Exciting.
